Ted Cruz and CancunGate is a complete non-story. Unfortunately, in today's political landscape, the story is receiving wall-to-wall coverage.

Americans are suckers for a good underdog story. The story of Rocky Balboa is as American as guns, baseball and apple pie. Eli Manning's New York Giants teams live in NFL lore for defeating the evil empire New England Patriots twice. LeBron James was very much an underdog in the 2016 NBA Finals as his Cavaliers team took down the dynastic Golden State Warriors.

As Trump tries to turn PA red, the state’s most popular city, Philadelphia, finds itself in the midst of chaos and civil unrest. Philly has witnessed a violent 2020 with a 42% increase in violent crime including 1,810 shootings (18% fatal) and 84% involving Blacks.

We do not need limousine liberals like Handler telling us how to vote because of HER perception of Black people or opinions of Trump. (While we’re at it, we do not need Joe Biden telling us how to vote because of our skin pigment.) So Handler can save her virtue signaling for another group of suckers.

Many Black men are driven by the head below the belt rather than the one above it. Women exploit this brilliantly. That is why many of them act in such illogical ways. It does not matter what a Black woman looks like, how many children out of wedlock she has, how many different men she had those children with, how much debt she is in, what her mentality towards men is, there will always be a line of men who will forgive all of her mistakes to be with her.

Some of the best people to have in your inner circle are those who are over themselves. These are people who have an abundance of confidence but have a healthy dose of self-awareness to balance their ego. When they sense their ego is becoming too inflated, they have the emotional stability to check themselves. People like this prioritize brain power over heartstrings.

We are a long way off from Frank Wright’s prediction coming true. The Windy City, which has always had a cloud of corruption hovering over it, is now in utter disarray. Chicago is coming off another violent weekend.

The Los Angeles Lakers are NBA Champs once again. A sports franchise with 17 championships is impressive. LeBron winning 4 titles with 3 different franchises in 2 different eras of basketball is particularly impressive.

Hollywood and other popular culture industries are breeding grounds for left-wing politics. Many of today’s top stars are pronounced liberals, at least on the surface. Is being a Democrat a prerequisite for superstardom in Hollywood and music? One can only speculate.
