Barack Obama's Second Act Will Be More Dangerous Than His First One

Beware.

These days, the media and politicians try to convince you that your eyes are deceiving you.

Seattle mayor Jenny Durkan tried to convince us of 2020's "Summer of Love" as riots and chaos ripped through her city; CNN wanted to convince us of a "fiery but mostly peaceful protest" as cars and buildings were set ablaze; ABC and NBC are even trying to convince us that unvaccinated Americans are to be blamed for the increase in COVID cases, even though CDC director Rochelle Walensky said COVID can still be spread by vaccinated Americans.

The latest event supposedly deceiving our eyes is Barack Obama's "scaled back" 60th birthday party.

Look at these images and tell me if this party was "scaled back." The tent alone looked like it was the length of two football fields.

This "bonanza" (seems to be a more fitting phrase) got me thinking about Barack Obama's cultural appeal. There were numerous A-list celebrities in attendance: Jay-Z, Beyoncé, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Erykah Badu, Questlove, George Clooney, Bradley Cooper, Gayle King, Tom Hanks.

There has never been a POTUS with as much pop culture cache as Barack has had. It is an amazing feat when you consider Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump were Hollywood darlings before they ventured into politics. Obama is more of a pop culture darling than Bill Clinton, who the media fawned over, especially after his saxophone performance on the Arsenio Hall Show. Barack was a habitual viewer of the Showtime series Homeland and HBO's Game of Thrones. Every March, Barack would release his own March Madness bracket predictions.

The Obama's also enlisted a conga line of musicians to perform at 1600 Pennslyvania Avenue. Hip-Hop stars, R&B singers, Jazz musicians, and Neo-Soul crooners from past to present performed for the Obamas.

Ronald Reagan knew the power of pop culture in relation to politics. That is why he popularized movie screenings at the White House. Obama studied the Reagan playbook and took it to another level.

This mainstream popularity is what made the 44th president so powerful...and dangerous. Obama had the ear of the youth.

In his infamous 1920s book Mein Kampf, Adolf Hitler said, "Whoever has the youth has the future."

Many Democrats understand this concept. They speak to the youth of America, engaging in conversations people 30 and under care about. While in office, Barack Obama spoke to the youth of America through popular culture. He did so gracefully and tactfully. Not in a Kamala Harris wearing Chuck Taylors kind of way.

Barack's 60th Birthday Bonanza is evidence he still maintains a vice grip on today's youth.

While the youth continues to listen to him, Obama will continue to inflame race relations in America. Obama's power-hungry use of the race card in the 2012 presidential election broke this country in half. Democrats viciously accused Republican nominee Mitt Romney of racism. Romney's pleas for welfare reform allegedly had "racist overtones." Debbie Wasserman Schultz, former Chair of the Democratic National Committee, accused Romney Republicans of "throwing out coded language to try to subliminally—and sometimes overtly—make the public believe that it's President Obama that's been the vicious attack dog and been running the negative campaign."

Every meaningful conversation Romney tried to have, Democrats cried racism. It painted any opposition against the Democrat party as racist. It is the ace of spades in the Democrat's hand of cards. Fast forward to the present day, the GOP is still branded as a party of old, white racist men. Despite the apparent fact the Republican party is just as diverse as the Democrats.

Obama will encourage young Americans, some of who will become future members of Congress, to see the world of politics through the lens of race. For example, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was 18 years old when Obama first took office. She has become one of America's most visible politicians, albeit one of the most ineffective ones. AOC is one of the loudest advocates for higher minimum wage laws, proclaiming opposition as racist. Her radical rhetoric is trickle-down from Obama's race-infused conversations.

Surface-level discussions such as skin color dilute critical-thinking skills. Higher minimum wages result in many disastrous outcomes, such as inflated costs across the board, lower hours worked per employee and even economic inflation. A nuanced discussion can be had for each bullet point. Unfortunately, many are not willing to have such conversations. The most saccharine and effective conversation to have is that of skin pigmentation. Lives could potentially be ruined by the laws created with such irrational logic behind them.

AOC, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, and Cori Bush are apples from the same ideological tree.

Radicalization of the youth is how the Nazis continued their unmitigated power for decades.

Many Americans will continue to celebrate Barack Obama throughout the rest of his life and long after he passes. But, as Obama's lore grows, how many more radical politicians will his race-baiting spawn?
